Project Details:

This retail shopping center is located in Fort Saskatchewan in the South Point Shopping Center just off Hwy 21 and Southfort Drive. Boulder Creek Southeastern Ledgestone Cajun was used on this project to enhance the protruding pillars and overall length of the storefront locations. Boulder Creek Southeastern Ledgestone Cajun incorporates a smoky dark grey base with highlights of rusticated sandstone brown on stones that vary in height and length to create a varied pattern of stone. Gionika Ltd. installed the material using Spiderlath, a patented fibreglass mesh that was perfect for the irregular shapes and long runs of straight walls.
With the efforts of OML Construction Services Ltd., this project was completed in scheduled dates and they have continued to expand in the CRU (Commercial Retail Units) market with projects such as Century Crossing in Spruce Grove and McTaggart Center in Edmonton. Boulder Creek has been specified for these projects with McTaggart using the Boulder Creek Long Island Stak Hempstead for phase one.
